On Press: Prints for Non-Profits is Signal-Return project designed to engage multiple communities at the printing studio: artists, printers, non-profits, and customers with an interest in art and in Detroit.
We invited a group of local artists to each make a letterpress poster from hand-carved linoleum blocks, the sale of which would benefit a local service-based non-profit of their choosing. Artists were given an honorarium and 50% of print sales are donated to the selected non-profit. This print was created by Tyanna Buie who selected The Avalon Village.
Signed and numbered by the artist. Each edition is capped at 200.
